How to toggle movement inside an if statement

This is my first experience with the Unity Engine( first interaction with an engine to be precise). I'm trying to make a simple game where the player jumps from block to block to reach the end of a level. When a player touches a block with the tag "Deathpit" I want the player to stop all movement. This is the code.

public class PlayerMovment : MonoBehaviour { public Rigidbody rb;

 public float admovment = 4000f ;
 public float jump = 200f;
 public bool isGrounded;
 


   

 private void OnCollisionEnter(Collision collisioninfo)
 {       //detech if the player is standing on a jumpable object

     if (collisioninfo.collider.tag == "Ground" || collisioninfo.collider.tag == "Platform")
     {
         isGrounded = true;
     }    //detech if the player is standing touching the "Death pit"
     if (collisioninfo.collider.tag == "Deathpit")
     {
         //if player is standing on the death pit. I want all movement of the player to go away. this is also where I want to put the movement false code thingy.
     }
 }

     if (Input.GetKey("d"))
     {
        rb.AddForce(0, 0, admovment * Time.deltaTime, ForceMode.VelocityChange);
     }
     if (Input.GetKey("a"))
     {

     }
     if (Input.GetKey("w") && isGrounded)
     {
         isGrounded = false;
         rb.AddForce(0, jump * Time.deltaTime, 0, ForceMode.Impulse);
        

     }

     transform.position = new Vector3(0f, transform.position.y, transform.position.z);
    }


Any help with this would be appreciated.

@stpaulgym Hi.
Stopping rigidbody movement has been asked and answered in either forums or here. Just set the velocity to 0.
