Error messages and runtime issues with standard assets water

Hello to the community, I was wondering if anyone has an idea why my HTC Vive is not working on a scene i have made In 'Unity 2018.2.8f1 personal'. Basically, when I run the scene i get extremely low frame rates and a dizzying view; the reflections in the water also are not aligned.

I get the following error messages which look like they are the main cause, but i have no idea how to fix the issue as I don't actually know how to code.

  Cannot set field of view on camera with name 'Water Refl Camera id29782 for -25214' while VR is enabled.
  UnityEngine.Camera:set_fieldOfView(Single)
  UnityStandardAssets.Water.Water:UpdateCameraModes(Camera, Camera) (at Assets/Standard Assets/Environment/Water/Water/Scripts/Water.cs:255)
  UnityStandardAssets.Water.Water:OnWillRenderObject() (at Assets/Standard Assets/Environment/Water/Water/Scripts/Water.cs:81)

  Cannot set field of view on camera with name 'Water Refl Camera id29782 for 35434' while VR is enabled.
  UnityEngine.Camera:set_fieldOfView(Single)
  UnityStandardAssets.Water.Water:UpdateCameraModes(Camera, Camera) (at Assets/Standard Assets/Environment/Water/Water/Scripts/Water.cs:255)
  UnityStandardAssets.Water.Water:OnWillRenderObject() (at Assets/Standard Assets/Environment/Water/Water/Scripts/Water.cs:81)

  Cannot set field of view on camera with name 'Water Refl Camera id29782 for -31224' while VR is enabled.
  UnityEngine.Camera:set_fieldOfView(Single)
  UnityStandardAssets.Water.Water:UpdateCameraModes(Camera, Camera) (at Assets/Standard Assets/Environment/Water/Water/Scripts/Water.cs:255)
  UnityStandardAssets.Water.Water:OnWillRenderObject() (at Assets/Standard Assets/Environment/Water/Water/Scripts/Water.cs:81)
  UnityEngine.GUIUtility:ProcessEvent(Int32, IntPtr)

Am I being completely ignorant, and Can anybody help me?

Many Thanks
