how do I move licence to new computer

In the process of upgrading to a game development computer (the first one of which died with BSOD for defective RAM), I seemed to have used up all of my computer licenses.

I was under the impression that my seat could be used on three different machines, but now I am being told that I am out of licenses.

There is no current answer related to this topic.

I do not want to delete the editor from my current machine for fear up not being able to reinstall it.
