Texture problems with Blender imports

Hi! I'm having a problem where I cannot seem to get my textures to show up properly on any of my Blender imports. I am saving and importing completely untextured models from Blender, and attempting to texture them in Unity.

Anything I try and import ends up looking like this when textured - just a large, solid color that vaguely represents the original texture: https://i.imgur.com/J9keDtC.gifv

Texturing things in Unity instead of Blender is much more comfortable, is there a way to make this work, or do I just have to do it in Blender...?
