Point cloud

Hello, i want to positionate my object in a 3d map, i know the distance from the object to the different objects / walls in the map, anyone knows a algorithm or a solution i can check for getting the posible positions of the object? right now i am using an external 3d camera and creating a point cloud.

Ok sorry, my exact problem is, i have a moving robot with a 3d camera, (Important: i am not talking about a 3d model inside unity, i am talking about a real robot) i have a unity projet with an scaled map from my real room, i am receiving the depth sensors camera information so i know exact 100% the distance from the object to the objects/walls he has infront. i want to create paths for the robot, right now i am only using simple instruction, an example is checking the metres from the robot to the wall and when if its less than certain distance, i tell the robot to rotate. thats more of a hack than a solution (since thats a really unprecise way of doing it), what i want to achieve is trying to positionate (in percentage like there is an 80% posibilitys of the robot of being at one position). there are some algorithms i have checked but i have not find one that can give me that solution using the distances. any help would be appreciate it.
