Error when trying to get component

Hello i have a problem in unity. Im trying to do a weapon selecting system, this system use gun names for search and equip it, and then i have this code:

   public class WeaponSwitch: MonoBehaviour {
         [SerializeField] private GameObject[] weapons;
         private int index;
         private string nome1;
         private string nome2;
         private string nome3;
         private GameObject getGunName;
         void Start () {

              weapons = new GameObject[3];

              nome1 = GetComponent<WeaponManager>().primaria;
              nome2 = GetComponent<WeaponManager>().secundaria;
              nome3 = GetComponent<WeaponManager>().handgun;
              weapons[0] = GameObject.Find(nome1);
              weapons[1] = GameObject.Find(nome2);
              weapons[2] = GameObject.Find(nome3);
              IniciaArmas();
         }

Where "nome1","nome2" and "nome3" are the slots i will use for store the strings.After i store on them the array called "weapons" will take the names and find the guns to i equip them, im trying to get the weapon names from this script: Weapon Manager

 public class WeaponManager : MonoBehaviour {

     string primaria = ("AK-47");
     string secundaria = ("KRISS-VECTOR");
     string handgun = ("GLOCK-18");

     public void Start() {

     }

     public void Update() {

     }
 }

But it never works , i never get the string from the other file, i don't know how to get the string and assign it on name1,name2,name3. Both scripts are on the same object too

Any help will be appreciated,sorry if i commited grammar errors,im not english

Ensure that both scripts are on the same object.
