Shot instantiation

I create a pooling script of shot. And mention the size to be 1.so that when i shot the player only one shot is instantiated in the scene and we reuse that shot again and again. So when the game is over that shot is still active in the scene but i want that shot to destroy whenever the game is over and again on start that shot get instantiated... But when game is over and i destroyed the shot and restart the game i am unable to shoot the player because that shot instance gets destroyed..... So can someone please help me to get out of this problem. My pseudo code is like this

Bool gameisOver = false;

Public void startnewgame() {

//ui control code is here

Gameobject player = instantiate(playerprefab, transform.position, quaternion.identity);

}

Public void gameoverMenu() { gameisOver = true; If (gameisOver == true) Destroy(enemyshot.instance.gameobject;

}

How are you restarting the game? Are you reloading the scene or resetting prefabs?
