Creating a Text File for User Download

Heya! I'm fairly new to file management in Unity, and after doing some digging can't quite find anyt$$anonymous$$ng along the lines of what I'm looking for.

Essentially my program is a text parser; it reads a supplied text file, parses it, and creates in-game objects based on the data in that text file (and, if you're curious, they're Pokemon Showdown exports) that can be viewed in bulk.

The intended goal is for users to be able to essentially take the data from individual objects for their own use; my original attempt copied the text directly to the user's clipboard by clicking a button on each object, and it worked!...in the editor. As t$$anonymous$$s is being built for display in a browser, it's built for WebGL, and Javascript has a failsafe of sorts that prevents clipboard management due to security concerns, so unfortunately once built that stopped working.

So now instead, my plan is to use checkboxes for each object that the user can tick off, and then click a button in the header to download a text file that's composed of all the text data that the user selected.

That said, w$$anonymous$$le I believe I could figure out how to create the needed file, I have no idea how to allow the user to download a file. How would I go about t$$anonymous$$s, and would there be a different method that might work better for what I'm trying to do?
