No terrain brushes

Question

New install of Unity 2018.3.6f1. Windows 10. Created new project. Imported standard assets. No errors. Added terrain to Hierarchy. Click on terrain object. Select pain terrain button. No brushes are presented. What am I missing?

did you make sure you aren't in debug mode, and are in normal mode in the inspector?

Yes, I am in normal mode.

I've learned that the Paint Terrain function will only work if the pulldown is set to Paint Texture. By default, apparently, it is set to Create Neighbor Terrains. Changing that setting allows me to add and apply terrain textures. Problem: User Status: Resolved.

No terrain brushes
