Change List Drag and Drop Type

I have this monobehavoir class that has a list of non-monobehavior objects that’s serialzable. That serializable class has a GameObject hook up in it. When I try to drag and drop a game object onto this list, it’s obviously not the type of the list so it won’t just automatically add to the list. Is there a way to specify or write something custom that would allow me to drag and drop a game object onto this list and it’ll make an instance of my serializable class, hook up that game object to that instance and then add the serializable class to the list all automatically? I realize I could probably make a custom editor for this monobehavior class, however I have a few of these lists in a few different monobehavoir scripts so having 1 thing that’d work across the board would be really nice. Is there a clean and easy way to do this? Thanks in advance!
