Limit 1 Entry at End of Game For Leaderboard

Hi!

I need to limit the ability to enter a name after one entry has been made on my leaderboard. I've googled many things, and nothing has come up that has helped.

LeaderBoard.cs using System.Collections; using System.Collections.Generic; using UnityEngine; using UnityEngine.UI;

 public class LeaderBoard : MonoBehaviour
 {
     public Text[] highScores;
     int[] highScoreValues;
 
     string[] highScoreNames;
     // Start is called before the first frame update
     void Start() //gets scores from array at start

Then in my GameManager script I have:

 public void InitialsEntered() //gives players the ability to enter their name in the leaderboard
     {
         GetComponent<LeaderBoard>().CheckforLeaderBoardHighScore(bestScore, playerName.text);
     }
