Maya/Unity restrictions for Qualcomm AR SDK

Hello all, I’m a cg supervisor working for a start-up company that produces AR experiences, and we have recently decided to switch to the Unity/Qualcomm AR SDK.

We have been in contact with Qualcomm, and were told that the AR SDK allows the artists to employ any of Unity Pros features, but it seems unlikely there are no restrictions and we’re looking for more details on this.

So, I was wondering if any of you in the community could let me know based on your experiences with the Qualcomm SDK, if can you implement the following Unity features in a mobile AR app;

  1.  Ambient occlusion

  2.  Displacement maps

  3.  Shadows

  4.  Glows

  5.  Particles with dynamics

Thanks everyone, I really appreciate any help in advance.

Best regards,

Hi.. for now I only tested particles and dynamics separated... and works ok.. of course it depends on the target device.
