I used the Videoplayer to play a cutscene animation via url ( https://…/anim.mp4 ) in my game . And It works fine on PC and IOS. But on android,it throws error : AndroidVideoMedia: Error opening extractor: -10000.
I changed several video’s format but got the same error.
Can someone please help me ?
I’m having the same problem, on both Unity 2019.1.1 & 2019.1.5.
I’m trying to access local files on device & play them using videoplayer. Unity is able to find the files ok via File.Exists(), but when I try to prepare them I get the same error message in logcat.
This worked fine on the same device in older versions of Unity. Changing files, formats, & projects has made no difference.
UPDATE: I found a (not great) solution. Switching Scripting Runtime Version to .NET 3.5 Equivalent (deprecated) fixed the problem. Unfortunately this isn’t a viable long-term fix, so hopefully Unity fixes this problem soon.
