What character are you talking about? The CharacterController? You probably have the First Person Controller prefab available in the Standard Assets Folder. If not, import it with Assets/Import Package. It uses Character$$anonymous$$otor.js, FPSInput.js and $$anonymous$$ouseLook.cs to move and jump. But if you want to make your own character script, disable these scripts and create your own based on the example at CharacterController.$$anonymous$$ove (http://unity3d.com/support/documentation/ScriptReference/CharacterController.$$anonymous$$ove.html)

Character movement? Do you mean the full list of all Unicode characters or just the common ones like new line?

to get started you may want to import the standard assets 1st and 3rd person controller scripts from there if you want to make your own read up on input keys and everything else that you would find in those scripts in the unity scripting reference. i would definitly recoment to look that up anyways because making a game run requires alot of script if you need more help email fusmc7@gmail.com good luck
