Best way to make liquid splash out of a smashed bottle?

I already have a bottle that smashes into pieces, but now trying to make the most effective way to make the liquid splash out and over objects around the smashed bottle area. Any Ideas would be great.

One option is implementing a particle system that looks like liquid and then let it collide with the bottle.

You may give a look at the Collision Module in particle systems.

Unity doesn’t have anything built-in to simulate fluids, which leaves you with a couple of options:

Fake it by using a particle system with the texture sheet animation module, and a texture that animates a liquid droplet effect.
