Question by renancristioficial · Jun 23, 2019 at 02:01 PM · ontriggerenterboxcollider

How can i make a "loop" in my script?

i have a door and i want it to active a animation whenever i touch the collider box (i never was good at programming) my script:

 using System.Collections;
 using System.Collections.Generic;
 using UnityEngine;

 public class Doors : MonoBehaviour {

 void OnTriggerEnter(Collider coll){
  if(coll.tag=="Player"){
      GetComponent<Animator>().Play("Door_open");
      this.enabled=false;
  }
 }
 }

i already made the animation have a loop, the end of animation matching with the begining of the animation

add public Animation playeranime and void start (){ playeranime = GetComponent() } and in void OnTriggerEnter if (other.gameObject.tag == "Player" ){ animvar.SetTrigger ("Triggerwhatevernamed"); } else {animvar.SetTrigger ("anotherTrigger");}

You will have to provide more details about what you want to achieve / about your problem.

  1. Is the OnTriggerEnter function called? (Add a Debug.Log( coll.tag ); just before the if condition.

  2. Is the animation playing?

  3. Is the animation looping?

  4. Do you get any error in the console?
