How to enable Record mode for a custom Timeline Track in 2019.2

I have created some custom Timeline Playables similar to the tutorial blog post by unity Extending Timeline: A Practical Guide

It works in 2019.1 and I can click on the red circle on the track and begin animating. However, when I upgrade the project to 2019.2 the red circle icon isn’t there anymore, and if i try to right-click in the inspector in the property to Add Key nothing happens, the input fields aren’t turning green nor red and no keys are added in the timeline. I can however right-click in the timeline and use Add Key to add keys, and then the animation works.

Yes, 2019.2 changed custom playables to not require recording/autokey. You can either change the value in the inspector, or open the inline curve editor and edit the values/curves there.
