Question by SchredDev · Dec 04, 2019 at 08:05 PM · graphicstilemap

Tilemap tiles show one pixel of their left neighbour?

The tiles of a tile palette seem to sometimes show a one pixel wide line of whatever tile is next to them in the atlas and I have no idea why. This is what I have tried:

  • Setting the filtermode to point --> Less lines, but still some

  • This tutorial (except for the bleeding part)

  • Changing the cell size in the grid

Tileset: Tileset

Filtermode Bilinear: Filtermode: Bilinear

Are you sure your tilemaps are correctly cut ? Each one having the same amount of pixels and that you set that exact amount in Unity?

@Anis1808 So I don't think this is what you meant, but I changed the pixels per unit value in the tileset import settings to 1 pixel less of their actual size, and that fixed it for me.

Thanks! I use another engine and another tileset yet still faced the same problem. I tried to tweak some import settings and it worked for me too. There was "Filter" setting that was smoothing pixels and placed some where they shouldn't be. The engine is Godot.
