How to make the enemy stop follow if a key is pressed?

I am making a game when I press the key "E" the Player becomes Invisible and I want to make the enemy stop if the Player is invisible. Does someone know how to do it?

Here is the enemy script.

     public float minDist;
 public float maxDist;

 public float EnemySpeed;

 public Transform Player;

 // Use this for initialization
 void Start () {
     Player = transform;
     Player = GameObject.FindGameObjectWithTag ("Player").transform;
 }
 
 // Update is called once per frame
 void Update () {

     if (Vector2.Distance (transform.position, Player.position) < minDist) {
         transform.position = Vector2.MoveTowards (transform.position, Player.position, EnemySpeed * Time.deltaTime);
         EnemySpeed = 6.5f;
     }

     if (Vector2.Distance (transform.position, Player.position) > maxDist) {
         transform.position = this.transform.position;
     }
 }

}

just add a variable to player and access it from the enemy like:

 //in player
 public bool invis = false;
 
 //when you become invisible
 invis = true;
 
 //in enemies get a reference to player you can do that with using gameobject variable instead of transform
 if(!player.GetComponent<"player script name">().invis)
 {
 //Follow
 }

of course, this is not the best way to do it because we are accessing the player each loop. but this will be the easiest to add to your code.
