Expansion Arrow button missing

Hi everyone,

I'm totally new to Unity 2D and I'm trying to make a small video game in 2D to improve my programming skills. Lately i created a gameobject named Path that has 3 children and packed the whole thing as a Prefab. But unfortunately when i try to expand it in the Project view, i don't find the Expansion arrow Button on the right. How can i find it? Or is there another alternative to do that?

Click the prefab in the project pane. Do you see a button in the Inspector? (That's the pane on the left) You should see one that says Open Prefab. Click that to be able to edit the items parented to the Path objet. alt text

Actually i want just to select all of the 3 children and drag-and-drop them in the Waypoints field (on the right) . N.B : waypoints is a List of Tranform objects declared this way : [Serialized]List waypoints; alt text

in that case, first in the inspector set the list size to 3, then you'll have 3 fields you can drag the objects into.
