camera farclip plane trouble,can't edit farclip plane in unity inspector panel.

I downloaded the 3d Game Kit and want to change the camera farclip plane from 5000 to about double that. When I change the number from 5000 to something else, the number resets to 5000 automatically.

Not sure why this is happening. I went in the script and these are the changes I made

But still the value in the inspector for the "camera Brain" won't change from 5000.

Please help and thank you for your time. ,I downloaded the 3d gamekit and want to extend the farclip plane from 5000 to about twice that. But when I edit the 5000 number in the farclip plane in the inspector panel, it just bounces back to 5000. I went in the script and changed the farclip to 10,000 and it shows as 10,000 in the script but still in the inspector panel it won't change from 5,000. Please help
