Passing arrays to vertex fragment shader with SteamVR plugin?,Passing an array to vertex fragment shaders with SteamVR plugin?

Hi all, first time posting so any help would be greatly appreciated!

I'm writing a vertex fragment shader to display data in 3D space as a heatmap. I've written it and it works pretty well. I then tried implementing VR with the SteamVR plugin, but now the shader doesn't work.

I've narrowed the problem down to passing arrays to the shader. I pass arrays with Shader.setGlobalFloatArray. This works fine without VR, but with the plugin, it treats all values in the array as 0. Is there another method that works with SteamVR plugin or am I missing something?
