Need some help with my Sphere's movement/physics.

Hello! I just started using Unity and after completing Brackeys video series on how to make your first video game, I am messing around with the game just to see what else I can do with it. Currently, I created a sphere that rolls on a plane. The sphere does roll on the plane, but it also bounces every time it touches the ground. Here are what my current settings look for my sphere: https://drive.google.com/file/d/19REdfEUTBWvz2mk1lFJIhjVgfc0TclAK/view?usp=sharing

I tried messing around with the friction settings on the ground. 0 friction makes it move, but it doesn't roll. If I turn up the Dynamic or Static friction to 1, it will roll, but always bounce.

Here is a short video showing the problem: https://drive.google.com/file/d/14J-GldHsBz5sF02DQjI8jdCUz1s6O5EV/view?usp=sharing

If it also helps, here is the script I for the sphere movement:

{ public Rigidbody RB;

 public float fowardForce = 2000f;
 public float sidewayForce = 500f;

 void FixedUpdate()
 {
     RB.AddForce(0, 0, fowardForce * Time.deltaTime);

     if(Input.GetKey("right"))
     {
         RB.AddForce(sidewayForce * Time.deltaTime, 0, 0, ForceMode.VelocityChange);
     }

     if (Input.GetKey("left"))
     {
         RB.AddForce(-sidewayForce * Time.deltaTime, 0, 0,ForceMode.VelocityChange);
     }

     if(RB.position.y < -1f)
     {
         FindObjectOfType<GameManager>().GameOver();
     }

 }

}

Any help would be very appreciated!

Hi there

Have you tried changing this: alt text

Thank you, that fixed it! I was not aware that there were other types of colliders besides the Box Collider. Thanks again!
