Why does my character fall through the floor after I've moved it?

So I've noticed a lot of people have some similar issues with their character falling through the floor. My situation is as follows. I'm trying to create a 2D game where the environment simply repeats itself infinitely no matter how far the character runs forward or backward. So I've got this repeating process working without problems and when I start playing, the character can run on the platforms just fine.

However, if one of the platforms has moved once, so the player doesn't get an empty frame, and the character tries running on the moved platform, it'llfall straight through. I've checked the following:

  • My player character has a 2D box collider completely surrounding it and a rigidbody, as I want him to be able to jump and such using physics.

  • My platforms have rigidbody and for testing purposed I've made it so their 2D box colliders overlap, even when they move, so there shouldn't be a gap anywhere.

I've been competely stumped on this issue for quite a long time now and I've checked multiple different answers already given, but nothing really gave a solution that worked.Any tips are welcome, so thanks in advance!
