Setting parent from structure

Hello, i'm having a bit of a problem in setting a parent for an object from the structure of it's script :

 public class ObjectManager : MonoBehaviour

{ public Dictionary objectsVariables = new Dictionary ();

 private GameObject target;

 public struct objVars
 {
     public GameObject objectPtr;
     public Vector3 position;
     public Vector3 rotation;
     public Vector3 scale;
     public objVars(Vector3 vect)
     {
         objectPtr = null;
         position = vect;
         rotation = vect;
         scale = Vector3.one;
     }
     public objVars(Vector3 newPos, Vector3 newRot, Vector3 newScale)
     {
         objectPtr = null;
         position = newPos;
         rotation = newRot;
         scale = newScale;
     }
     public void SetObject(GameObject newObj)
     {
         objectPtr = newObj;
         newObj.transform.position = position;
         newObj.transform.rotation = Quaternion.Euler(rotation);
         newObj.transform.localScale = scale;
     }
     public void SetPosition(Vector3 newPos)
     {
         position = newPos;
     }
     public void SetPosition(float x, float y, float z)
     {
         position = new Vector3(x, y, z);
     }
     public void SetRotation(Vector3 newRot)
     {
         rotation = newRot;
     }
     public void SetRotation(float x, float y, float z)
     {
         rotation = new Vector3(x, y, z);
     }
     public void SetScale(Vector3 newScale)
     {
         scale = newScale;
     }
     public void SetScale(float x, float y, float z)
     {
         scale = new Vector3(x, y, z);
     }
 }

 public void ObjSet(GameObject objPtr, string objName = "")
 {
     if (objName == "")
         objName = objPtr.name;
     if (objectsVariables.Count != 0 && objectsVariables.ContainsKey(objName))
         objectsVariables[objName].SetObject(objPtr);
     else
         objectsVariables.Add(objName, new objVars());
 }

}

What i'm trying ot do is make a dictionary containing position, rotation and scale relative to the object the script is atached to ("parent"), then setting those on another object that will become child of "parent".
In short it's a custom program managing objects on a game character, allowing me to set a position, rotation and scale of the object when added to the character, and setting it as it's chils so it moves with the character.
The problem i'm having is that in the structure i can't get access to gameObject, so i can't set the object's parent to "parent".
