how do I compare the transform.rotation from a quaternion of the childobject to the key the player pressed?

Hello, I am really bad with syntax. I am making a simple game that there are three patterns that randomly spawn in a designed area and randomly rotate on the z axis. Each pattern has five arrows, and the middle arrow randomly rotates on the z axis. The player must press an arrow key that corresponds to the middle arrow of each pattern to get a point. For example, if the middle arrow is pointing up, then the player presses the up arrow for a point.

To implement this, I use created each pattern and parent them individually with an empty game object. I instantiate the parent objects and I used a Quaternion. For the middle object, I also used a quaternion, but I used a separate script and attach it to the child(2) of each pattern.

The issue I am having how do I compare the transform.rotation from a quaternion of the childobject(2) to the key the player pressed? Thank you in advance.
