Unity isn't letting me use a unity version

Question

You know how when you first get unity you have to install a unity version? I installed the latest version and the 2019 version of unity and both times after finishing the installation, it went back to looking like i never installed anything and prompted me to install a unity version.

Can you locate it in your pc? is it installed? look in ProgramFiled/UnityEditor directory, if its there you can use the locate version button
