How to open project when stuck on "Updating Mesh Colliders" loading screen upon opening?,"Updating Mesh Colliders" loading screen is stuck on 0/104 when I try to open project

I have a project which uses gaia pro and gena pro from procedural worlds, and upon opening the project I am shown the welcome screens as if I have just downloaded gaia, even though I have already downloaded and used these packages in the project. After this, there is a loading screen which gets stuck on “Updating Mesh Colliders” and it is always at 0/104. Any help in fixing this problem would be greatly appreciated, as I am pretty new to Unity and cannot find an answer online. ,I am trying to open my project, and it always gets stuck on this loading screen when opening the project. I have used Gaia Pro from Procedural Worlds in the project, and whenever I open the project it gives me the welcome screen as if it is the first time I am opening Gaia, even though I have used it in the project. Is there any way for me to fix this and be able to open my project? I am pretty new to unity, so any help would be greatly appreciated.

@dzuboy I also have this issue with gaia. Did you find a solution ?

Hello i ran into this issue and i believe the way i repaired it was these steps.

  1. open unity hub.
  2. find project, right click
  3. select show in explorer
  4. find project in explorer
  5. open and find assets
  6. find procedural worlds
  7. Delete folder.
  8. open project again in safe mode
  9. reimport gaia the original package you were using before
  10. after import, delete procedural worlds folder from within project
  11. if errors still there for other packages for example like cidy creator you may need to delete and reimport later.
  12. close project without procedural world
  13. open project normal mode (Not Safe Mode!)
  14. import gaia pro first, then gena pro if you have it and set up and install dependencies etc.
  15. reinstall other packages that were causing errors in safe mod prior

This is how i personally resolved my issue i am not sure if it will fix yours but it was a tedious process to save my large project but totally worth while. It did take about 2 to 3 hours for the down load processes ect. so just be patient. Hope this helps!
