Admob ads not showing on iOS devices

Hey guys, I recently published my first game for Android and iOS but I've been having issues with getting ads to display on iOS. Before releasing the game the test ads were always working perfectly and when I released it to Android first there were no issues, production ads were working as expected. Unfortunately however, I have not been able to get the production ads to work on iOS.

Is there anything I need to do after building it to Xcode? There were no errors during the build to Xcode but I noticed in Xcode the binary is not linked to any of the Admob frameworks/libraries, is this normal?

Could it be an issue with Cocoapods? I'm very confused, I've tried just about everything and I'm still having the same issue after almost 3 weeks... Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
