Casting shadow of a line-renderer on a VideoPlayer?

alt text I need to show the shadow of the LineRenderer in the image on the background (it's a VideoPlayer playing video). If I put a plane or a cube, I see the shadow there but can I cast the shadow of the line onto the video?
