Can ontriggerexit detect if an object has COMPLETELY left a collider?

Currently ontriggerexit in the cube is firing as soon as any part of it starts to leave the spawner's box collider. I'm trying to get the cube to recognize when it's not touching the spawner at all.

OnTriggerExit is supposed to trigger only when two triggers stop overlapping completely, this is a strange thing

I think this is strange, have you made sure that the colliders are appropriately applied on both. If yes, can you try to export the cube and the spawner...so that i can try to reproduce the problem....

Package

There's a lot of trash code in there where I've been commenting out and trying different things.

The intention is that cubes spawn, move downward until they touch the floor. They stack, then when they fill up to the spawner they destroy. So my idea for the destruct condition is when a cube is touching another cube AND is inside the spawner, the column is full.

So what should be happening is cube spawns with touchingspawner set true, because cube always spawns inside the spawner, then turn false when it exits spawner collider. But it's ontriggerexit is immediately firing upon spawn. :/
