How do I rotate camera around y axis 90 degrees everytime i swipe?

Hi! I am a beginner so I search all around internet trying to figure it out how to do it. So my camera is fixed on some coords and I want to make it turn around 90 degrees with a smooth effect not just jumping to the specific 90 degrees. And I don't know how to reference that 90 degrees so therefor it only rotates 90 degrees just the first time I swipe right and then it stops. But I want to rotate it 90 degrees everytime I swipe. Any sugestion? please

Hello @Ciucuree , You have are already able to detect a swipe, but then you don't know how to rotate your camera correctly? If so, try this:


[This is only pseudo code and not tested]

     float lastRot = 0; // needed for animating
     float currentRot = 0; // store the current rotation of your camera
     float lerpDuration = 3; 
     float startValue = 0; 
     float valueToLerp; 

     public GameObject camera; // assign it to your camera object 
 
     void swipe(){   // detect your swipe
         currentRot += 90;
         StartCoroutine(Lerp());
     }
 
     IEnumerator Lerp()
     {
         float timeElapsed = 0;
 
         while (timeElapsed < lerpDuration)
         {
             valueToLerp = Mathf.Lerp(lastRot, currentRot, timeElapsed / lerpDuration);
             timeElapsed += Time.deltaTime;
             camera.transform.Rotate(valueToLerp,0,0);
 
             yield return null;
         }
         valueToLerp = currentRot;
         lastRot = currentRot;
         camera.transform.Rotate(valueToLerp,0,0);
         
     }
