TextMeshPro UI get correct Location on Screen to check with mouse input,TextMeshPro character right Position on Screen

Hi Everyone

The Case: I have a TextMeshPro UI GameObject. Now i want the Position of each Character:

 var info = GetComponent<TextMeshProUGUI>().textInfo;
 for(int i = 0; i < info.characterCount; i++){
     Debug.Log($"Char {info.characterInfo[i].character} Position X Left: {info.characterInfo[i].bottomLeft.x}");
 }

So I get the positions in relation to the location from the GameObject.

To get the Screen Position I add the X Position from these Values. Then I should have the right Position on Screen. So i have the correct Position in World Space.

Now i want to Check if I hit the Character when i press it with the Mouse (Input.mousePosition.x). But the Mouse is on Screen Space, also i recalculate them with

 Camera.main.ScreenToWorldPoint(Input.mousePosition.x).

But i always get 0.

Then i try the reverse way and recalculate the char position from world space to screen space:

 Camera.main.WorldToScreenPoint(info.characterInfo[i].bottomLeft.x);

But always a wrong result.

Anyone have any ideas on how to do this smartly? Thanks and greetings
