Player prefab ignoring collision after respawn

Hello!


I'm quite new to unity and C#, and right now I'm having some trouble trying to make my player respawn.


I followed some tutorial online, but when my player respawns, it just goes through the scenery, as if it didn't have a box collider or rigidbody, even though the prefab is configured correctly.


These are my Level Managerand PlayerDeath scripts. If someone could help my solve this, it would be great


LevelManager.cs

 public class LevelManager : MonoBehaviour
 {
     public static LevelManager instance;
     public Transform respawnPoint;
     public GameObject playerPrefab;
     public CinemachineVirtualCameraBase cam;
     private void Awake()
     {
         instance = this;
     }
     public void Respawn()
     { 
         GameObject Player = Instantiate(playerPrefab, respawnPoint.position, Quaternion.identity);
         cam.Follow = Player.transform;
        }
 }

 public class PlayerDeath : MonoBehaviour
 {
     private void OnCollisionEnter2D(Collision2D collision)
     {
         if (collision.gameObject.CompareTag("Spike"))
         {
             Destroy(gameObject);
             LevelManager.instance.Respawn();
         }
     }
 }
