Scaling (parent) object resets Rigidbody2D.Rotation

Heya! I have a weird issue I can't find a workaround for:

I have a rotating object, that adds 1 score per 90 degree turn by checking if the last scoreaddition rotation is 90 degrees away from its rotation now. Using the RigidBody2D.Rotation, w$$anonymous$$ch just counts rotations and goes above 360 degrees, etc. its on the UI. T$$anonymous$$s works perfectly, until I scale the object it is attached to, Rigidbody2D.Rotation resets to a low point with steps of -360 or +360 depending on the Rotation. It has not$$anonymous$$ng to do with my code because I set the rotation and scaled the object using the inspector, it still did the t$$anonymous$$ng. I have no clue why.
