Good place to find city map images

Question

I'm working on a top down plane shooter game (194x style) and would really like to have it take place overtop several American, European, Asia cities. Does anyone here ever seen where I could find full overhead photos of cities (google maps could do it, but if there is anywere with already in 1 file it would save me a ton of time)

I'm not sure what the rights are on google maps images. I don't think you can rip them out for commercial use but like I said I'm not too sure.

You could always. Check out openstreetmap (link when I get to a pc) but I don't know if they have photos. You could also try nasa's website.
