Need workaround on 2d collision detection

Hello Experts,

I have two GameObjects, both with 2d colliders and rigid body (This is required for my game). Further, I can't enable "is trigger" in both of them. The body type is set to "Dynamic" for both. I have some code to run on collision of these two GameObjects. I am fine with any of the functions i.e. "OnTriggerEnter2D", "OnTriggerStay2D" or "OnTriggerExit2D". Or even any other function/ method, or workaround. Only objective is to destroy one of the GameObject. Can you please help me with your expert opinions. Thanks in advance.

you should be able to set isTrigger in the colliders I don't understand why you can't?

Thanks a lot for your response. The reason I can't use "is trigger" is because, I need the default physics behavior in both the GameObjects while interacting with other GameObjects. But specifically for these two GameObjects I want one of them to be destroyed. I know it's little complicated, but that's the requirement.

I'm sorry I really can't understand the default physics allows you to use isTrigger in colliders. so you just need to activate them and use Destroy (gameObject) in the onTriggerEnter () function of your script. if I have not understood something I ask you to post some pictures to understand thank you very much

Couldn't you just say Destroy(other.gameObject) in an OnTriggerEnter2D method?
