Why is my viewport position affecting my game view during runtime?

I have this flash effect running and it looks perfect in the inspector but in my game it is significantly less bright and transparent, this is strange on its own but whats stranger is that the effect visibly changes during runtime based on where I’m looking in the scene view, if Im very close to the effect it looks correct in the game but if I’m far it doesn’t.

Can anyone tell me why this might be happening and any potential fixes?
