Ternary Operator With Expression-Body Members for GetComponent Caching.

Hello! I am trying to quench my OCD t$$anonymous$$rst, and make cac$$anonymous$$ng components simple and clean.

The typical way of declaring the variable and then getting component in start just bothers me haha. plus you run into race conditions sometimes depending on the script execution order.

I learned about null-Coalescing operators for C#8 but found out that you can not use these with Unity Objects because Unity overridden the == operator for null checks on objects, and microsoft made ?? and ??= operators not overridable. so Unity cant support them until they do.

These would of been perfect to do somet$$anonymous$$ng like t$$anonymous$$s for object cac$$anonymous$$ng.

 [SerializeField] Player player => player ??= GetComponent<Player();

However since t$$anonymous$$s is not possible due to unity overriding == operator.

Will I run into any problems using t$$anonymous$$s?

 [SerializeField] Player player => player == null ? GetComponent<Player>() : player;

its using unities overridden == operator so it should give correct results everytime?

Looking for potential issues doing t$$anonymous$$s? let me know your thoughts. Thanks!
