Why does my characters child object jitter with pixel perfect camera component?

My character and everyt$$anonymous$$ng else works just fine with no jitter using the pixel perfect camera component. However, the gun, w$$anonymous$$ch is a child of the character is jittering and lagging be$$anonymous$$nd. the jittering seems to be worsened yet by enabling my look at cursor script (listed below)

Details: Unity 2021.3.13f1 URP

 {

     transform.right = _direction;

 }

 }
 private void Update()
 {
     moveInputs = PlayerInput.GetMoveInput();
 }

Camera follow script:

 [SerializeField] private Vector3 offset;
 private void LateUpdate()
 {
     if(target != null)
         transform.position = target.position + offset;
 }
