3rd person, model morph error in scene view

Hello everyone,

I am a beginer at unity3d, and I have encountered a strange phenomenon. Whenever I move the 3rd person character model (standard asset) in the scene view, it morph into a compact shape with the head/legs/torso all mixed up with one another. Has anyone ever encountered such problem?
