How many halos is supported?

I am currently working on a small project, where I need about 8,000 halos. However, when I create all the halos only a subset of them are actually "lit". It seems that around 50% of them are not "lit", even though they are in the scene and the component is enabled.

So, how many halos does Unity support before it stops drawing halos?

How are you sure they're not being drawn? Perhaps it's a LOD problem, where you can't see all of them being drawn because you're too far away from them? And what, may I ask, do you need with 8,000 halos? Surely there must be a better way of doing what you want to do?

There was a better way. Ended up using particles ins$$anonymous$$d.
