This simpe trigger is not working

Hi, everyone and thanks in advance for any help. I´m kind of newbie with Unity, but i'va made like 2 little games. I was with another project abd make this simple code to make de player (first person) move backwards when enter the trigger. But nothing happens; while if I quit the "other· in "other.transform.position" what happen is that the collider move to the especified position.

Again, a ton of thanks in advance.

public class Loop : MonoBehaviour {

 private void OnTriggerEnter(Collider other)
 {
     if (other.CompareTag("Player"))
     {
         other.transform.position = new Vector3(93, 16.725f, 52);
     }
 }

}

Just in case, have you been to the reference page? https://docs.unity3d.com/ScriptReference/Collider.OnTriggerEnter.html

It has a note describing some requirements, in case you missed them:

Note: Both GameObjects must contain a Collider component. One must have Collider.isTrigger enabled, and contain a Rigidbody. If both GameObjects have Collider.isTrigger enabled, no collision happens. The same applies when both GameObjects do not have a Rigidbody component.

One problem could be, it that your player movement script just changes the position back to where it was. So when your script teleports it the player just teleports back.
