global var

hi I have 2 script. script 1 name is: slideshow and second script name is : nextimage

so i want in the nextimage script , when mousedown changed x value to other script(slideshow) x=x+1 how to write this?

First you need a reference to an instance of slideshow inside of nextimage. Then, you have to modify the variable, either by making it public, or by a public function.

But your title suggest that you want slideshow to be unique, and not instanciated. In that case, use static.

Here you go not that much polite beginner :

StaticStuff.js (don't attach it to a gameObject)

public static var myStaticVar: int= 0;

RegularStuff.js (attach it to a gameObject)

function Update(){

   if( Input.Get$$anonymous$$eyDown("space") )

     print( StaticStuff.myStaticVar++ );

}

PS : I'm quite sure the code formatting inside comments is sorcery more than anything else.
