Glowing/Neon Effect for GUI.Box

@cupsster thanks for your reply. so u mean that it is impossible to do image Effect Bloom and Flares using GUIText or any GUI Elements?

and is there anyway to produce the image Effect Bloom and Flares using unity Free version? thanks

Trough baking this effect into texture and showing that. Or make effect separate texture and place it in a way that it creates illusion of this. This way you can have full control over it trough animation of rotation, position and sacale.

In Potoshop glow around text you can reproduce with "Outside Glow" and horizontal ines can be hone with transparent gradient. Google this terms. Gimp is also good free alternative.
