Posting duplicated questions does not help, Babilin, and this one lacked any details as to what sort of server you were trying to set up.

If you have a multiplayer game, every user $$anonymous$$UST download smart fox server unless you host the server yourself. Then, you would need to redirect whatever script you are using to the server IP.

Example: 122.345.870

I don't know about that web error but for the standalone one, where is your Smart Fox running ? Somewhere on the internet ? Is it reachable for remote players ? The basic network troubleshooting should help you. Make sure they connect to the server that's online and not locally.

 * Download the $$anonymous$$ultiplayer Island Demo from SmartFoxServer's API page.
 * Unzip it.
 * Run SmartFoxServer.app.
 * Launch Unity3D
 * Open login.Unity (It's in the folders from that $$anonymous$$ultiplayer Island Demo)

i don't know why you are referring to a database, you don't need one for smartfox, but for other people to be able to connect to your smartfox server and play against you, the smartfox server needs to be reachable for them. So if you installed it on your computer at home, your friends need to have a way to connect to it from there place. Networking can be complex, make sure your read about it.

no, the server needs to run. Just putting it on webserver in a folder won't work. You are clearly not familiar with networking.
