New start for unexperienced beginer - please help.

Hello, i am absolutely unexperienced.
(some closed betatesting, localisation or QA and have some contact on profesional developers as 2K, Blizzard don count.)
It is long time when i will like make games. I have one good idea. But i am not programer, not graphic or musician. But i am think Unity can be ideal program for game making.
( it be 3D game with isometric view, some RPG atributes, questing, trading, fighting and equipting and some other features) I see Battlestar galactica. And that is right point thad make me decide that for my game project will be unity ideal program.
I try fast look and read documentation and seek for tutorial but not lucky to found how begin.

I meant, install unity and run it first time. And what can do to now.
First must make objects, second scene place, and place object on scene. Right?
How i can make new object? It muse use diferent graphic program as Light wave, maya or other? Or is posible make object directly in Unity.

I am better in make complete game concept than learn in programing or graphic. I understand to proces. But there is extremly much informations that paralize me. But when i looking for job where can make games and realize my game idea need some experience in also one creating program. Or have luck and found team of developers that vill be interestend in my game idea concepts. I know that my idea concepsts are realy good.
And in Unity i like try make some short prewiev and demonstration.
(make one planet, one asteroid, one station and two ships and arange to do combat, dock to station and planet and harvest asteroid. And also make demonstration equipt ship.)
But absolutely not sure if is real posible for my lack skill/konwledge.

Is there some specific tutorial for me? Or must use also other pograms (for making objects?)

Thank you for help.

PS: sorry for my terrible english.

I’d start here. http://unity3d.com/support/resources/tutorials/

Also, there is a great book out by Will Goldstone called Unity Game Development Essentials. http://www.amazon.com/Unity-Game-Development-Essentials-Goldstone/dp/184719818X. I’ve found it to be very helpful and a must read for producers.

Here you can find a huge list of tutorials: there are many programming references in that list!

However, if you want to create objects, the answer is yes: you have to use an external program for 3D modeling, like Maya or 3D Studio Max, then import your creations in a Unity’s scene; if you are not practice with 3D modeling, you can download ready-to-use models from many sites, like TurboSquid, or have access to the asset store, where you can find 3D models (free or not). Just go under Window->Asset Store inside Unity.
