Sprite Manager 2 frame aliasing

Hello- I'm somewhat new to SM2, and am finding it difficult to properly build my animations. Since SM2 does not support (as far as I can tell) frame aliasing, when you drag sprites into a timeline animation, I see that you need to duplicate frames by either repeatedly dragging in that sprite, or by hitting the hot key "D" over and over. I would be fine with the hot key, but in order to make the best use of my limited texture space, I am re-using unique frames from earlier in the sequence at different point in the timeline. The problem is that when I go to duplicate these frames, they duplicate then organize by their numerical name (running2.png for example). So if that sprite is being used further down the line, when I dupe it, it shuffles over next to the original (in this case) runningman2.png. AKA- its replicates in the wrong place. This is a huge headache as some of my animations are in excess of a hundred frames, and are working in tandem with other clips that have exactly equally large numbers. . Any suggestions? Currently, this is a very painstaking drag by drag process.
