Shuriken - Access to settings through code missing?

Been searching around for quite some time and whilst I've noticed people asking similar questions, there seems to be a noticeable lack of answers even to just reaffirm that it's not possible to access said variables.

What I am currently attempting to do is create a particle system during runtime, that will have a range of behaviour values change depending on the parent object, Unity documentation covers PartcleSystem and PartcleSystemRenderer, but both are lacking exposure to variables such as:

  • Simulation Space

  • Various Shape aspects

  • Renderer sort mode

Some non-exposed variables aren't the end of the world as it's possible to work around the limitation by hand coding behaviour that gives the desired result, however there are a few such as simulation space that without access too really makes creating a runtime particle system quite a pain.

So is there a hole currently in the Unity documentation and access to these variables is in fact possible? And if so could someone point in the right direction, as it seems quite the oversight to Shuriken at the moment!
