Dead Ragdoll Help

Hi all , i have a question about the ragdoll that's activated when the AI's is dead.

I insert this code

 var deadDisplacement : Rigidbody;

 function OnDeath ()
 {
     if(Collision.OnCollisonEnter)
         {
             var dead : Rigidbody = Instantiate(deadDisplacement);
             dead.Start;
         }
 }

But it always say this !

 Expressions in statements must be only executed for their side-effects

Anyone can help me ?? This is very confusing for me because im is new on scripting on Unity!

What is happening in your game in order for that character to die? Like how does the OnDeath() function get called?

Does Instantiate work like this?

Wouldn't it be:

var dead : Rigidbody = Instantiae(deadDisplacement, transform.position, transform.rotation);

You are not casting the instantiated object to a rigidbody but you are trying to assign it to a variable with a type of rigidbody. Instantiate method returns Object so you have to cast it. Try;

 var dead : Rigidbody = Instantiate(deadDisplacement) as Rigidbody;

try dead.Start(); instead of dead.Start;. You are calling a method without ().
